The Woollam Nature Preserve
Formerly Camp Rota-Kiwan, the Arthur and Mildred Woollam Nature Preserve features 212 natural acres, with access to Bass Lake and Scouters Pond. Much of the existing hiking trails, parking areas, restrooms, and lake access are already complete. Some of the former scout buildings will offer the space and opportunity for youth programming and family/community gatherings. Demolition of older buildings will enhance the natural beauty of this property.
This unique natural gem will provide ongoing preservation and conservation of land and continued recreational opportunities for the public. Because of your support, this property will be preserved for perpetuity and enjoyed by the members of our community.
The Preserve is currently open weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays) from 9 am until sunset. Stay tuned for more information on the Grand Opening of Woollam Nature Preserve (7 days per week) in Spring 2025!
